CineAsia in a nutshell
Cineasia is the Asia Pacific region's most impactful and leading cinema convention. Every year the event aims to contribute to the cinema landscape by bringing together industry professionals worldwide to network, share insights and introduce the latest cinema exhibitor technology. This year marks the 29th year and took place in Bangkok, Thailand, from December 9th to 12th at Icon Cineconic and True Icon Hall, ICONSIAM and CINEsync is glad to have been in attendance.
Outlook for Cineasia
The cinema convention is centered around enhancing growth in the cinema industry. Not only does this involve collaboration opportunities and showcasing the latest technology but this also involves hosting prestigious award ceremonies and honoring achievements in the film sector. This has attracted over 1,500 industry professionals and decision-makers globally, including countries such as the US, Japan, Malaysia, India, and China. As well as, the event features recognized organizations such as Warner Bros, IMAX and so on. Moreover, for 4 consecutive days, participants were engaged in numerous activities such as educational seminars, panel discussions, exclusive Hollywood screenings and more.
The focus of the event was the networking platform, where exhibitors showcased live demonstrations of their latest solutions and innovations to potential prospects like cinema owners, operators and stakeholders. We saw a wide range of product demonstrations on display and this ranged from immersive sound systems and ergonomic seating solutions to advanced cinema exhibitor software to name a few and it was a spectacle of innovative technologies shaping the future of cinema.
Final thoughts
Cineasia was a world-class Cinema convention, thousands of attendees from all over the world were present to engage and support the event.
